Dustin Combs Named Women's Softball Coach

Dustin Combs, a six-year softball coach at Glendale High School in Springfield, Mo., will head the women's softball program.

Combs helped start the Glendale program, and the team reached the state quarterfinals in its second season. He also has been an assistant baseball coach at Glendale and served as head groundskeeper, earning the GroundsKeeper of the Year award in 2004 from the National High School Baseball Coaches Association.

Combs is a Commerce, Okla., native and earned a bachelors degree from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla., in 1998.
