SENIOR TUTOR NAMED
Dr. Kenneth D. Alpern, professor of philosophy
at Hiram College in Hiram, Ohio, has been
named to the position of Oxbridge Senior
Tutor at William Jewell College.

BUILDINGS UPDATE
Construction continues on a new 15,000-square-foot addition to the Yates-Gill College Union. Recent mild weather enabled the construction crews to work on several areas that transition from the existing building to the addition. Progress is especially apparent in the kitchen area and access leading into the new East Dining Hall.

Ben Blanton has already fulfilled his childhood
dream, and then some. He's landed the professional
baseball contract. He's earned first team
All-American honors. He's been named Jewell's
male athlete of the year two years running.
