Bob
Bearden: The Cost of Freedom
| Bob
L. Bearden (University of Texas) is a man
of profound experiences. He parachuted into
Normandy on D-Day, fought for the liberation
of Europe in WWII and survived six months
as a POW, but he says joining Sigma Nu was
one of the most important experiences of his
life.

Harry Potter?
It wasn't the wave of a magic wand,
but instead, a mixture of classroom learning,
a lot of ambition and the real-time laboratory
of his Sigma Nu chapter that propelled Jai
Patel (George Washington) into the job of
his dreams his first year out of college.
Jai's role as New Business Development
Manager for UCG Marketing, an experiential

and promotions agency, gave him the opportunity
to promote J.K. Rowling's seventh and final
book in the Harry Potter series, Harry Potter
and the Deathly Hallows, which was released
this summer. |

Bringing
Home the Gold
| After
21 years of training, Arjun Dhingra (Nevada/Reno)
joined the US Tae Kwon-Do team and brought
home a gold medal from the International Tae
Kwon-Do Federation World Championships in
England this summer. He was the only Team
USA member from the state of Nevada and the
only adult on the team to bring home the gold.
