Ready to Hit the Road
All of our chapters are scheduled to receive a focused consultation visit during the 2007-2008 academic year. Should you not see your chapter listed underneath one of our consultants below, please know that your visit will not likely occur until the spring term. Once dates for your consultation visit are known, a representative from General Fraternity Headquarters will be in touch to communicate those details. Steve Cangro
Steve Cangro graduated from the University of California, Irvine (UCI) after the winter quarter of 2005, where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. During his tenure at UCI, Steve spent close to two terms serving in both the Interfraternity Council and Greek Presidents Council. Steve also served the University as a member on numerous committees such as Greek expansion, Greek Week and many campus-wide philanthropies. Steve served the Lambda Omicron chapter as IFC representative, Social Chairman and Commander. |
Steve also received the Lambda Omicron Athlete of the Year award in back-to-back years, as well as the Team Player award.
Steve also trained and spent part of a season as a member of the UCI soccer team, as well as participating and winning numerous intramural sports championships. In his free time, Steve plays just about any sport he can find and loves listening to live music. Since graduation, Steve has worked in the mortgage industry as both an account executive and a lock desk specialist. Steve joined the Headquarters staff as a Consultant in May 2007.

Nathaniel Clarkson
Nathaniel graduated from James Madison University (JMU) in 2006 with a degree in Geographic Science and Economics. He held several positions in the Iota Delta chapter including Commander, Recorder and Recruitment Chairman. Outside of the chapter he served as Interfraternity Council Vice President and as Order of Omega Treasurer. He also served as a representative to the JMU Honor Council. |
In addition to attending College of Chapters 2005 and the 62nd Grand Chapter, Nathaniel attended the NIC's Undergraduate Interfraternity Institute as a student in 2005 and an intern in 2006. Before joining the Headquarters staff, Nathaniel interned with a Washington, D.C., think-tank that trains Capitol Hill staffers and campaign managers. Nathaniel is a proud Eagle Scout and volunteers with local troops in his free time. He also enjoys reading books and watching sports with friends and family.

James Ehrmann
James graduated with honors in 2007 from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. During his collegiate career, he served as a student senator, student orientation advisor, researcher for the Iowa State Legislature and president of both the Interfraternity Council and Order of Omega Greek Honor Society. Within the Beta Mu chapter James served as Commander, House Manager, Philanthropy Chairman, Career Chairman and Risk Reduction Chairman. He was recently recognized as the 2006 Greek Man of the |
Year and also received the Randy Ross Senior Leadership Award.
James' interests include politics, the Cincinnati Reds and recreational sports.

K. Stratton Kirton
Stratton Kirton is a 2007 graduate from Stetson University where he received his Bachelor of Arts and Applied Science in Political Science and Russian Studies with a minor in Russian Language. He was active on Stetson's campus, serving as a member of the Stetson Academic Honor Council, Vice President and Secretary Treasurer of the Russian Club, Vice President and Publicity Chair of College Democrats and a founding member of the Leadership Advisory Board. He was inducted into the Order of Omega Honorary Greek Society, the Pi Sigma Alpha |
Honorary Political Science Society, and Dobro Slova National Slavic Honorary Society. While at Stetson, Stratton served the Delta Mu Chapter once as Lieutenant Commander, twice as Commander and three times as Alumni Relations Chairman. He also served the Chapter as its representative to the IFC for three years and captained Delta Mu's Relay for Life teams.
Stratton plans to pursue a career in Central Asian and Security Studies and hopes to work in the intelligence field. He enjoys discussing politics and spending time outdoors.

Mike Schamp
Mike Schamp is a 2007 graduate of the University of Hartford, Hartt School of Music where he studied Performing Arts Management with a minor in Business. While at the University of Hartford, Mike served as the Interfraternity Council President for the 2006-2007 academic year. Mike has served in various other organizations on campus, such as Treasurer of the Hartford Paintball Club and Team and as a Senator for the Student Government Association. In 2007, Mike was recognized by the North East Greek Leadership Association with the Greek Leader of |
Distinction award and by the University of Hartford with the Dean of Students award for outstanding leadership and service to the University community.
Mike looks forward to attending law school in the foreseeable future. In his free time, Mike enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, hiking, SCUBA diving and traveling.

Alex Wyatt
Alex Wyatt is a recent graduate of Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with Honors. While at Cal Poly, Alex was an officer on the Interfraternity Council and the Association of Facilities Engineers as well as participating in Tau Beta Pi (Engineering Honors Society), the Cal Poly Rugby Team and Week of Welcome. During College, Alex also spent a quarter in Santiago, Chile, where he lived with a Chilean family while studying Spanish. Within the Kappa Pi Chapter, Alex served as |
Commander, Recruitment Chairman and Intramurals Chairman. Prior to graduation, Alex was recognized as the Cal Poly Fraternity President of the Year, Cal Poly Greek Man of the Year Runner-Up and a Sigma Nu Alpha Affiliate.
In his free time Alex loves playing all kinds of sports. He recently participated in his first Olympic distance triathlon at the Wildflower Triathlons in Paso Robles, California. Alex's other favorite sports are basketball, football, volleyball and mountain biking. His other interests include traveling and watching the Dallas Cowboys.
