ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ALUMNI & VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS

SUMMARY:
Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented leader to serve as a member of our strengthened Alumni & Volunteer Program. The Associate Director of Alumni and Volunteer Programs will report directly to the Director of Alumni and Volunteer Programs.

The Associate Director will play an important role in the development, implementation and evaluation of our alumni programs to increase visibility, participation and involvement of our alumni and volunteers in support of the Mission of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc. Specifically, this person will work to identify and engage alumni and friends of Sigma Nu Fraternity through a value proposition to support the success of chapters, develop and perpetuate fraternal leadership and increase the value of lifetime membership.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Promulgate the Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan of Sigma Nu Fraternity, Inc.
Recruit, train and support alumni and volunteers.
Develop Alumni Clubs in key metropolitan areas.
Conduct research to determine alumni attitudes and preferences. Compile data on the alumni body for use in segmentation and determination of strategies and programs.
Assist in the development and implementation of programs to engage priority alumni segments.
Assist in the development and implementation of a marketing strategy to increase alumni attendance at Fraternity conclaves.
Assist in the implementation, promotion and management of an online alumni community.
Assist the Director of Marketing and Communications in developing content for The Delta magazine and other communication vehicles.
Represent the General Fraternity at events on the local, regional and international level.
Perform other duties as assigned, consistent with experience and training.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in the United States or Canada.
Be an Initiate, in good standing, of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
Must be able to travel.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Must have all legally-required automobile insurance.
Must have PC experience in a Windows environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Ability to protect the organization by keeping information confidential.
Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.
Ability to keep files and work area organized.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to motivate others.
Have demonstrated leadership qualities.
Ability to research and resolve issues, take initiative and multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Must be able to fluently read, write and understand the English language.
