April 2006
Golfers and Runners Wanted!

Two of the most notable additions to our Grand Chapter convention this summer include a Sigma Nu golf tournament and a 5K Run/Walk to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Although these events are open for both alumni and undergraduate participation, registration spots are limited and they're filling up fast!

Think you might be interested in either event? Read on for more information on how to participate!

Sigma Nu Golf Tournament

The Sigma Nu golf tournament will be held at Brickyard Crossing, a truly unique championship-caliber public golf course located on the grounds of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS). This Pete Dye-designed course features four holes within the infield of the IMS oval track and is ranked the 47th best course in the country by Golf Digest. Brickyard Crossing is conveniently located just ten minutes from the heart of downtown Indianapolis and is a course you'll be talking about for years to come!

Sigma Nu 5K Run/Walk

A pre-convention charity event to benefit Sigma Nu's Helping Hand Initiative. Open to the greater Indianapolis community, this approximately 5K, or 3.2 mile, course follows the banks of the canal in downtown Indianapolis as it winds its way through White River State Park. Proceeds from this event will be donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a Sigma Nu Helping Hand Partner.
