Second Silent / Live Auction to Benefit Educational Programming

The Sigma Nu Educational Foundation will host Sold!...for Sigma Nu, its second silent and live auction, on July 11, 2008, in conjunction with The 63rd Grand Chapter in Austin, Texas. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation, which underwrites
the educational and leadership programs of the Fraternity.

We have already received many wonderful items to auction this summer including:
A pearl and onyx membership badge
A one (1) week stay at a condo in the Bahamas
Five (5) nights lodging in Manhattan near Carnegie Hall, just south of Central Park
A custom painting to be done by Delta Alpha initiate Mike Jaszczak, famed artist of The Quest
Limited edition, commemorative Makers Mark bottles custom-dipped in Sigma Nu black and gold wax
Golf Items donated by 2002 Senior U.S. Open winner Don Pooley (Arizona)

Prior to Grand Chapter, chapters and alumni are encouraged to support this event through the donation of additional items to auction. Ideal donations include:
Frequent flyer miles / points
Vacation rentals
Sporting event tickets
Autographed memorabilia

Additionally, alumni living in the Austin area are encouraged to contribute items of local interest for those attendees who are from the area.

All donations are tax-deductible to the declared value of the item. Those interested in donating a service, trip, or other item in support of Sold!...for Sigma Nu should contact Executive Vice President Brad Hastings at (540) 463-1869.

If you have plans to attend Grand Chapter, make sure you arrive on Friday, July 11, so that you can attend the Sold!...for Sigma Nu auction. You won't want to miss the excitement or the opportunity to bid on an array of quality auction items.
