The Rock, Reborn
(July
3, 1959) - After years of hopeful speculation and diligent
research, curious onlookers standing on the Parade Grounds
of Virginia Military Institute catch their first glimpse
of a multi-ton fragment of blue Virginia limestone not
seen for some 45 years.

Sigma
Nus Skate for Diabetes Research
Take one part Fraternity, one part West
Texas, and a seemingly insurmountable goal
to skate one million laps at the local roller
rink for diabetes research. Sound crazy?
The men of Zeta Pi chapter at Texas Tech
in Lubbock, Texas didn't seem to think so.
In fact, neither did the more than 550 sorority
women who turned out on February 4, 2006,
to help them raise money for the Juvenile
Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) in the
South Plains. Sure, it's not quite the stuff
traditional Greek stereotypes are made of,
but that's exactly why our men decided to
host this event. |

and Chapter Commander Andrew Crain.]
