Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Gifts Continue To Climb

Over the last three years, the Foundation has experienced a dramatic increase in the number of EFT gifts as follows:


James Owens, Executive Vice President, explains that "EFT gifts have become extremely popular because by contributing monthly, alumni are better able to manage their personal budgets and make a more significant gift to Sigma Nu. For example, many alumni who find it difficult to contribute $300.00 or $400.00 annually via a one-time gift will often times gladly make an EFT gift of $40.00 per month."

EFT gifts allow the Foundation to better predict income, lead to improved cash management and lower administrative costs. EFT gifts are transferred conveniently each month from a checking or credit card account directly to the Foundation.
