Bid for Brotherhood

At the Sigma Nu Foundation it is our desire to keep our donors informed about special events and announcements as soon as the information is available and before we make it known to the general membership. It is no different for this exciting event: Bid for Brotherhood.

The Foundation will host its first-ever Bid for Brotherhood in conjunction with The 62nd Grand Chapter to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 15-19, 2006. The Bid for Brotherhood is a live and silent auction, which will be held on July 14 to kick off the Grand Chapter. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation and Fraternity.
James Owens, Craig Haesemeyer and Mike Long after a morning Pheasant and Quail hunt in October 2005.

We already have received many wonderful auction items including:

One-week stay at a condo in the Bahamas
5 nights lodging in Manhattan near Carnegie Hall, just south of Central Park
A pheasant / quail hunting trip and tickets to a Big 10 football game in Iowa

Every member of Sigma Nu is invited to attend this exciting event that will raise funds to serve our brotherhood. If you have plans to attend Grand Chapter, make sure you arrive the day before so that you can attend the Bid for Brotherhood. You won't want to miss the excitement or the opportunity to bid on an array of quality auction items.

If you are interested in donating a service, trip or other item in support of the Bid for Brotherhood please contact James Owens. Ideal donations include: frequent flyer miles / points, vacation rentals, sporting event tickets and autographed memorabilia. Alumni living in the Indianapolis area are encouraged to contribute items of local interest for those attendees who are from the area. All donations are tax-deductible to the declared value of the item.
