Foundation Director
Receives Call to the Hall
Late in 2006, while many people were
busy shopping for holiday gifts, current
Life Director of the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation and Indiana University alumnus
E.G. White received an early present. The Indiana Football Hall of Fame
called asking White to gather information regarding his football career. That
phone call tipped him off that something big was on the horizon.
Growing up in South Bend, Indiana, White was an All-Conference, All-State high
school football player. He went on to college at Indiana University, where he |
 |
joined Sigma Nu, and served three years as an offensive lineman on the Hoosier football team.
He started two years at offensive guard and center
and served the team as captain his senior year.
In March of 2007, the call to the Hall was answered as White received notification that he had been selected for the Indiana Football Hall of Fame based on his high school and college success on the football field and for helping to advance football in the State of Indiana. On June 23rd, White was officially inducted at a reception in Bloomington, Indiana. |

If

What percentage of alumni have named
the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation in
their estate plans but don’t tell
us they’ve done so until it’s
too late? Any idea?

Foundation
Enhances Strategic Plan for 2007-2008
| In
August of 2002, the Foundation’s
Board of Directors embarked upon an unprecedented
journey to create the first strategic plan
for the future of the Foundation. At that
time, the Board determined that in order
for the Foundation to meet the financial
needs of the Fraternity, there needed to
be a clear roadmap developed that would
be the guiding force behind our efforts
and initiatives. |
