DONOR EDUCATION Investing in the Future. . . our Duty As the Fraternity continues to improve the educational and leadership programming offered to today’s students, the number of alumni needed to invest in the future of Sigma Nu also increases. In the last few years, the Fraternity has invested heavily in leadership through the LEAD (Leadership, Ethics, Achievement and Development) and the Pursuit of Excellence Programs. Additionally, our Helping Hand Initiative helps our collegiate brothers experience the importance of assisting those who are less fortunate. Likewise, the Values Based Recruitment Program focuses on recruiting men who believe in our core ideals of Love, Honor and Truth. Sigma Nu was the first (and is currently the only) Fraternity offering an ethical leadership development program that includes cutting-edge curriculum for ALL undergraduate brothers, no matter their year in school or whether they hold a chapter officer position. Every alumnus can be proud of the importance Sigma Nu places on educating its undergraduate members. However, maintaining the growth and integrity of these important but demanding programs requires continued support. Since 2002, a growing group of young donors have been committing their support at increasing levels and demonstrating the value they place on the Fraternity’s educational initiatives. Having just reached the 1,000 donor mark, the growth of the GOLD (Graduates of the Last Decades) Program shows the loyalty of our young alumni. While we may not tell you enough, the programs you support through contributions to the Sigma Nu Educational Foundation make a significant difference in the lives of our undergraduate members, not just for today but for their future as contributing members of our society.
