What have you been up to?

In the March issue of The Promise, we asked our readers to share with us what's happening in their lives. Today we share with you these "Class Notes."

Colleen Arcand, Alpha Omega, is an elementary school teacher in Seminole County, Florida.

Audra Brickner, Delta Epsilon, gave birth to her daughter, Taya Elise, in August 2003. She is the Director of Development for Purdue University's School of Mechanical Engineering.
Deandra Brooks and Kristina Morgan Rose, Gamma Delta, have sold their first book The Recovering Sorority Girls' Guide to a Year's Worth of Perfect Parties.

Helen Bruce, Alpha Kappa, works for the Cobb County Public Library System in Georgia. She underwent a successful kidney transplant surgery last year, thanks to the extreme generosity of one of her coworkers.

Christie Brumley, Theta Alpha, works in the non-profit field as a Public Relations/Marketing Coordinator for United Cerebral Palsy of Huntsville and Tennessee Valley.

Stephanie Causey Campbell, Alpha Lambda, gave birth to Lawson Reid in January 2004.

Amanda Beth Girten Garner, Kappa Nu, was married in May 2003 to Travis Garner. She graduated in May 2004 with a Master of Science degree in speech-language pathology. In June, she began working at the Vanderbilt Bill Wilkerson Center.

Allison Hall-Amadio, Delta Epsilon, was married in August 2003 to Thomas Amadio. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Special Education and plans to graduate December 2005.

Jill Halter, Delta Theta, received the A. Harry Passow Classroom Teacher Scholarship from the National Association for Gifted Children. The award is given to teachers who have shown excellence in teaching gifted students.

Safia Gray Hussain, Epsilon Beta, appeared in the April 2004 feature film The Alamo as Jim Bowie's wife. She is attending Fordham University's Law School this fall.

Amy Linscott Jannereth, Rho Delta, gave birth to a daughter, Paige Elizabeth, in May 2003.

Kristen Jones, Gamma Chi, gave birth to her second child, Ethan Hansen, in September 2003. Ethan joins older brother Zachary Nelson, born January 2002.

Julie Lassalle, Epsilon, is attending Virginia Tech to earn her Master's degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs Administration.

Mindy Mackereth, Gamma Alpha, is pursuing a Ph.D. in genetics and molecular biology at Emory University, with an expected graduation in 2005. She is planning an October 2004 wedding in Atlanta to Dr. Charles Hadley Maris.

Melissa Moore, Gamma Lambda, recently opened her own law firm in Sevierville, Tennessee. She was married in April 2004 to Joe Lelonek in the Turks and Caicos.

Tracy Ann Moore, Kappa Upsilon, graduated from the University of Memphis Law School in 2002. She is currently in private practice in Cumming, Georgia. She is President of the KY Chapter Association and an adviser to Mu Chapter.

Tracie Price, Theta Theta, received a Masters degree from Columbus State and was inducted into the Pi Alpha Alpha Honor Society. She currently works at Columbus State University and serves as the collegiate chapter adviser.

Kimberly S. Reid, Beta Rho, is enrolled at Vermont School of Law. She hopes to practice civil rights litigation after graduation.

Stephanie Wright Stanfield, Alpha Kappa, celebrated the birth of her first child in July 2004.

Brenna Hartzell Tatusko, Beta Upsilon, is pursuing her Master's degree in counseling. The New Jersey resident is a volunteer with Rhodesian Ridgeback Rescue and other pet rescue groups.

Megan Tobin, Alpha Pi, gave birth to her son, Davis Zachary, in September 2003.

Julie Westbrook, Lambda Beta, was promoted to Executive Director of The Chandler Collection, a division of Classic Concepts, Inc., located in California.

Brooke White, Zeta Gamma, has two children: Davis Andrew, born in May 2001, and Sydney Aleta, born March 2003. The road design engineer was promoted to Project Engineer for the state of South Dakota.
