47
years old and never looked better!
In 1957, Phi Mu Foundation was incorporated out of a need
to allow Phi Mus to make tax-deductible gifts to benefit
our Sisterhood. Nearly 50 years later, the Foundation
has grown to meet so many more needs other than that of
charitable tax deductions. In the 47 years since the Foundation's
incorporation, our organization has grown by leaps and
bounds, all to the benefit of the Fraternity, our collegians
and our alumnae.
 |
|
We
support education by annually awarding over 90 scholarships
for collegians and alumnae, as well as sponsor education
programs and lecture series. |
|
|
 |
|
We
are helping our collegiate chapters through the chapter
consultant and leadership consultant programs. |
 |
|
Through
the Heart and Hand Fund, we support Sisters affected by
natural disasters. |
 |
|
Phi
Mu Foundation was the first among National Panhellenic
Conference groups to establish a National Philanthropy
Day. |
 |
|
We
oversee the distribution of funds collected for our national
philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network. |
 |
|
The
Foundation maintains our important historic memorabilia
through the maintenance of the Heritage Room and Philomathean
Room museums. |
Today, we are meeting the increased needs of our membership.
Specifically, we have created this premiere electronic newsletter,
Forever Phi Mu, to stay in touch with alumnae aged
31 and up, while providing useful life skills information. Based
on the success of our young alumnae newsletter, The Promise,
we are announcing the first of four trial issues of Forever
Phi Mu for our alumnae. We hope you enjoy this issue and
will offer
your feedback. If you'd like more information about the
Foundation and our programs, simply click
here, and we'll send you a copy of our brochure, Creating
a Lasting Legacy.
At 47, we think Phi Mu Foundation has never looked better, thanks
to our outstanding supporters.
