Centennial Effort
Includes Lost-Brothers
Manhunt |
|
|
Over 12,000 brothers are unaccounted for; do you
know these brothers?
Phi Kappa Tau is conducting a manhunt that spans generations
and continents to find brothers whose addresses have
been lost over the years. Of over 60,000 members we
believe to be living, about 12,000 are unaccounted-for,
with out-of-date addresses and phone numbers.
In order to close this gap, we have published the names
and initiation years of all 12,000 members who are missing.
We need all members to help track down these brothers
in one of three ways:
| 1. |
Use
the "change of address" form on our
web site to provide a mailing address or phone
number for the living brothers; |
| 2. |
Inform
us if any members have entered Chapter Eternal; |
| 3. |
Ask
the lost members to call or log onto our web site
to give us their current information. |

Alumni Plan Oktoberfest
in Munich |
|
|
|
European Alumni Club aims for its
first major event at the Bavarian celebration
Before Ernest August of Hannover united the Germanic
tribes in 1505, regional clans laid down their arms
and celebrated the peace with a fest! The largest of
these celebrations was held each year in what is known
as the thriving metropolis of Munich.
Indelibly this celebration endured for hundreds of years,
growing to become the largest fest of its kind in the
world. Oktoberfest as it is known today, sees visitors
from across the globe joining together for this momentous
occasion in September and early October.
This year Phi Kappa Tau's European Alumni Association
hosts its inaugural Alumni gathering in Munich on the
23rd-26th of September. A draft itinerary will be available
shortly. This promises to be an historic occasion for
all involved. We have secured room for 50 brethren to
enjoy the festivities in Munich with us. To do so you
will need to make a deposit of EUR75 (about US$92.00)
which will include the following benefits:
