Deadline Fast Approaching
The fall 2007 National Scholarship deadline is December 1, 2007. During the fall semester, over $39,000 is up for grabs. A description of the fall awards and online application can be found on the Foundation's website. An official transcript and two letters of recommendation, one from a Phi Psi and one from a non Phi Psi, are needed to complete the application process.
Once all materials are received, national scholarship applications are reviewed by a selection committee for each award. This is a great way for alumni volunteers to be active within the Fraternity and discover the exciting things young Phi Psis are doing today. Following the review of the applications and initial scoring, conference calls are held between the committee members to discuss each applicant and finalize the award recipients. Winners are typically announced one month after the award deadline and are featured in The Shield, Phi Kappa Psi's quarterly magazine.
