2007 Presidents Leadership Academy Dates Announced
A model within the Interfraternal world, Phi Psi’s PLA is scheduled for January 26-28, 2007. The program is specifically designed for chapter presidents who, together with facilitators and small group leaders, will put the role of a leader under a microscope. The registration deadline for this program is January 5, 2007. Under the guidance of lead facilitators, undergraduates’ notions of what it means to be a chapter leader will give way to fresh ideas for today’s chapter as they explore their Phi Psi experience, individual values, group values, organizational management, goal setting and personal development.
The conference begins with an opening session mid-afternoon on Friday and adjourns on Sunday afternoon. Laurel Hall, the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity Headquarters and Conference Center, in beautiful Indianapolis, Ind., will be the host site.
This kind of leadership experience is rare among college fraternities. The Academy is funded through a grant from the Endowment Fund. Thus, all travel and enrollment costs are paid! The only charge is a $75 investment fee for the program.
Please check the national website for additional information. Chapter members should also be on the lookout for more information in chapter mailings. We look forward to this year’s Presidents Leadership Academy - a dynamic, educational and high energy program. |
