And The Awards Go To. . . .
That's right. It's that time of the year again when generous donations from alumni and friends allow the Phi Psi Foundation to award National Scholarships to deserving graduate and undergraduates all across the country. Each year, over $80,000 is up for grabs! This semester was one of the most competitive yet and after review by the scholarship selection committee the winners were selected.
The six winners of the Founders Fellowship Award for graduate studies are Michael Boyne, Illinois Alpha '01, Ross Bruch, Pennsylvania Iota '01, David Dziengowski, New Jersey Delta '02, Russell Husen, California Beta '05, Andrew Lutomirski, California Beta '03 and Victor Pickard, Pennsylvania Beta '92.
Winners of the two Ruddick Lawrence awards for service are Michael Harding, Georgia Alpha '05 and Jared Lefkowitz, New York Kappa '06.
The winner of the Ernest Garbe award for journalism is Jeremy Werner, Illinois Delta '05.
Ross Bruch, Pennsylvania Iota '01 was also the winner of the William
Walker award for business.
The Winston Tate award for business goes to Alex Nisichenko, Maryland Alpha '04.
Victor Pickard, Pennsylvania Beta '92, was awarded the Mary Pickford-Rogers award for performing arts.
The winner of the Phillip Cornelius award for financial need is Michael Burk, Indiana Beta '06.
Timothy Hassel, Iowa Beta '07, is the winner of the Ben King award for engineering.
The Phi Psi Foundation wishes to congratulate all of the National Scholarship winners for the 2006-2007 school year and encourages Phi Psis to apply online for the Fall 2007 awards beginning August 1, 2007. |
