Top Honors for Indiana Epsilon
Indiana Epsilon was awarded five awards at the Annual Valparaiso University Greek Awards ceremony this past May. The event recognizes contributions by Valpo’s fraternities and sororities on campus and within the local community. Indiana Epsilon undergrads and alumni members have worked diligently this past year to achieve the high marks.
Both the President’s Award of Achievement and Outstanding Public Relations Award were handed to the chapter as a whole. Peter Brock, Valparaiso '03, received the Kyle Carson Greek Man of the Year |

award. New Member of the Year award went to Cody Shumaker, Valparaiso '05. Kevin Marks, Valparaiso '92, received the Chapter Advisor of the Year Award.
In addition to the awards, the chapter also completed Valparaiso University’s Standards and Expectations Program and was accredited as a Sexual Assault Awareness and Facilitative Education (SAAFE) Empowerment House, making Phi Kappa Psi one of two fraternities on campus to have successfully completed the program. The process takes over a year to complete and includes a number of educational programs on sexual assault prevention and gender awareness.
