It’s
that Time of Year Again: The Foundation Staff Reflects
on a Strong 2007
Most of the leaves have fallen from the
trees and the holidays are upon us – how did it
arrive so quickly? The end of the year is here,
and like most people, the Phi Psi Foundation staff
is reflecting on a wonderful 2007. This past year

the Fraternity and Foundation experienced unbelievable
growth, with new chapters chartering, new colonies submitting
petitions and more brothers making financial gifts, Phi
Kappa Psi remains a prominent national Fraternity. Phi
Psi is fortunate and thankful to have hardworking, energetic
and engaged alumni volunteers, dedicated Foundation and
Fraternity leadership and devoted staff members, which
keeps Phi Psi at the top of incoming freshmen lists.
Recently, the Foundation staff took the opportunity to
reflect upon what they are most grateful and thankful
for over the past year. “I am thankful and appreciative
for a supportive group of family and friends, good health,
the freedom to make choices and the good will of others,”
said Ben Nicol, Valparaiso ’00 and Managing Director of
the Phi Psi Foundation. “I’m just thankful that when I
received my diploma last spring, it was signed!” Katie
Kamanski, Stewardship and Campaign Coordinator jokingly
commented.
Wendy Truitt, the Foundation’s Bookkeeper, noted “I am
thankful for our freedom, natures beauty, all creatures
great and small, special memories of passed loved ones
and my wonderful family!” “I am so grateful for the health
of my family and friends, the memories we have shared
and the ones we continue to make,” said Stephanie Miller,
Programs and Events Coordinator.
But most of all, the Phi Psi Foundation is thankful for
you, our members. The Fraternity would not continue without
the dedication and support of its members. Since 1852
our organization has touched the lives of over 75,000
men and thanks to you our Fraternity is strong. As the
2007 holiday season is in full swing and 2008 knocks on
our doors, keep in mind what you are thankful for this
year and let it be known every moment.
