Searchlight on . . . Roseann Farinacci
In October 2005, I was hoping to extend my time aboard the Anastasis, but I clearly heard the Lord telling me I needed to come home--and it was amazing to see His hand upon my life when I followed His calling.
First, my friends Richard and Susan Brewster allowed me to stay in their beautiful home while they returned to the ship, so I didn't have to worry about a place to live. Then, through word of mouth, I found a great job within a week--no job hunting needed!
I also have to tell you this story about my car. I had made plans to sell it before leaving for the Anastasis, but the deal fell through at the last minute. A newfound friend offered immediately to store the car while I was gone for the year.
What a freedom to come home and have my car all ready for me. After driving those Mercy Ships Landrovers for a year, though, it took me awhile to stop grinding the gears!
Please keep me in your prayers. |
