Buford Joins
Prestigious HotSoup Panel
Leadership Network founder Bob Buford will join
a cast that includes Senator John McCain and
seven-time Tour de France winner Lance Armstrong
when online community HOTSOUP.com®
goes live in the early fall. |
|
The first online community to unite "Opinion Drivers" from across the political and social spectrum, HOTSOUP.com also has landed Applebee's International Chairman and CEO Lloyd Hill and stay-at-home mom/political activist Mary Shull for its first online discussions.
Bob met HotSoup.com CEO, Ron Fournier, when he played
a behind-the-scenes role in networking Fournier to Leadership
Network churches that are prominently featured in Ron's
just released book,
Applebee's
America: How Successful Political, Business,
and Religious Leaders Connect with the New American
Community.
Harnessing the power of social networking technology,
HOTSOUP.com will serve as a public forum to exchange
ideas, voice opinions, network over the important issues
of the day and endeavor to rise above the polarization
that has become pervasive in this country. The five
celebrity guests who have signed on are representative
of the thousands of individuals who have pre-registered
for the community since it was announced last month.
"Individuals such as John McCain and Lance Armstrong recognize that influence is as much about listening to others as it is about being heard," said Ron Fournier, editor-in-chief of HOTSOUP.com and former chief political reporter for the Associated Press. "They are among the many famous and not-so-famous Opinion Drivers from the worlds of politics, business, religion and pop culture who have told us they can't wait to join the HOTSOUP community."
