Churches Surface Untapped Leaders in Four Ways
Leadership Network's Wayne Smith has observed four different models of identifying and developing high-capacity marketplace leaders--those often untapped and underutilized in their churches.

As Director of Marketplace Success/Kingdom Significance Leadership Communities, Wayne works with churches that are setting the pace for unleashing and mobilizing these vital human resources. He describes the four models as: Cultural/DNA, Partnership, External Opportunities, and Internal Development.

"We have many churches that are excited about marketplace ministry," Wayne says. "The concept was born out of Halftime, and we began retooling it to be accessible to pastors so they could use it to find the people in their churches who have experienced various levels of business success. As we've studied what their churches do, and how they do it, we have seen these four models emerge."
