Healing Place Offering the HPC Experience
HPC Experience is an opportunity for churches to visit Healing Place Church in Baton Rouge, LA, and experience the "how" behind HPC. Each experience provides teams with the opportunity to participate in staff meetings, creative meetings, roundtable luncheons with the lead team and one-on-one time with Lead Pastor Dino Rizzo.

Those who wish to extend their stay can attend weekend services, and get even more of the Healing Place's red-carpet treatment. The HPC Experience is limited to 30 people per session to facilitate personal relationships and attention to detail during the Sept. 5-7 sessions.

Jesus Film Surpasses 1,000th Translation
The 1970s-version "Jesus Film" produced by Campus Crusade for Christ has been translated into its 1,000th language, with plans to translate it into an additional 500 languages—including every language with more than 100,000 speakers.

Lanka Kol became the latest language translation of the film, which has been viewed by more than 6 billion people, with over 200 million decisions for Christ as a result.

"Lanka Kol is a language many Americans have probably never even heard of, but there are more than one million people in India who speak Lanka Kol—and now we have the opportunity to begin sharing the gospel story with them in their own language," says Jim Green, executive director of The Jesus Film Project.

What U.S. Age Groups Are Growing This Decade?
One age cohort is growing dramatically during the 2000-2010 decade while another is actually declining in size, as depicted in a table with data from demographer William H. Frey in a recent Brookings Institution report.

It will come as no surprise that the fast-growing age group (up 49%) is the 55-64 group, the first wave of the Baby Boomers. On the other end of the spectrum is the 35-44 cohort, which actually will decline 9% over the decade.
