HEARTFELT
Dear Sisters,

Spring means receiving letters from collegiate Gamma Phi Betas thanking us for a Foundation scholarship/fellowship. Reading how this assistance is helping each young woman reach her career goals is truly gratifying as I experience first-hand the joy of seeing how these gifts change members' lives.

The Foundation continues to champion for financial aid. In recognition of rising costs, we are planning to increase the amount for a named scholarship or fellowship so that the award will truly have an impact. We continue to seek additional endowments to make financial assistance available to more members, regardless of their Gamma Phi Beta chapter or field of study. Recent emphasis on 'leadership funding' has allowed more members to participate in training at the nationally recognized The LeaderShape® Institute.

Support to the philanthropy has also increased. Since the Sorority entered into collaboration with Camp Fire USA in 2002, the number of camper days has increased 176%. Both collegiate and alumnae chapters have been very generous, and the Foundation has made it a priority to supplement those funds.

It is through the generosity of our members that the Foundation can grant hope and sustenance to those in need. Thank you for making dreams a reality for hundreds of women and young girls.
