Last spring the ESEF announced our pledge to Bridge
the Gap between state funding for El
Segundo schools and the state of excellence
we must maintain for the children of the El Segundo
Unified School District (ESUSD). We are excited
to announce that we have already raised more than
$229,400 to support the Bridge the Gap
campaign. We are committed to writing a check
to the ESUSD for $250,000 by June 30th, which
is just a few months away. Won't you help us put
the campaign over the top by making an online
donation today?

We are grateful to every individual and corporation
that has contributed to Bridge the Gap
in El Segundo's public schools. These contributions
will provide:
New
Language Arts textbooks that are required,
but not provided, by the state for our
kindergarten through eighth graders;
A
modernized sound system and refurbished
grand piano for the El Segundo High School
Auditorium;
Proper equipment for the high school's
new science building and other technology
requirements within the District.
