Philip Capps

Senior Vice President, Business Development

Philip Capps is an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience in sales, marketing, business development and consulting at both start-up companies and large market leaders. Philip is currently the Senior Vice President of Sales at Pursuant Group. He has earned a reputation as a strategic and innovative leader, having helped hundreds of prestigious organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, The University of Texas, Operation Smile, Shriners Hospitals for Children, and the United States Olympic Committee.

Following a distinguished commercial career in technology and finance with Dell Computer, Dell Financial Services and AT&T Capital, Philip began his work in the nonprofit market joining Internet start-up Convio in 2001. He has spent the last 10 years leveraging technology, marketing and fundraising strategies with depth of experience in every sector. In addition to his achievements in business development, Capps was instrumental in the launch and evolution of Convio’s industry-leading consulting group and partner program. Prior to Pursuant, Philip served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at MPower Systems and Kimbia Software.

Philip is a nonprofit co-founder and has been a supportive board member for several organizations. He studied business and social work at Hardin Simmons University and is an ePMT certified trainer and speaker– a frequent presenter at industry conferences and events. Philip and his wife, Brandi, have been married 24 years and have two sons in college.
